Smokey

Our last and final cat in the house. He is not very photogenic at all. He's all paranoid and it doesn't help that his black coat makes it hard for any picture to make him look good. This is one of those rare moments where he was relaxed on an early spring day this year and the light was just right and not over saturated.

Although you can't see it in this pic, he has a very poofy tail like any Turkish Angora. He's also really sociable... (with me and my boyfriend only though).

Update 7/15/11: Today we lost a very loving friend. Our little kitty Smokey. After several months of a bout of nasty, aggressive cancer, he was put to sleep today. That was one of the hardest things my husband and I ever had to do. Now there is no more pain, no more suffering. If there is anything to the 9 lives mythology, maybe it can also be interpreted as 9 life times. Who knows? Maybe we'll see him again in some other form. Until then, Smokey. Until then.
