Leitgeb Heritage Cherry Tree

The Leitgebs (Max and Ruth) were a couple who used to live in this spot on Cherry St., Olympia (a teacher's association building is there now). This tree has stood in this spot for well on 45 years now. As you can see, phone and electrical lines have surrounded the tree over the years and yet, it is still tall and majestic shading passersby and providing beauty and heritage to the City of Olympia for years.
